Battle Lake Public Beach

Bring your mat, beach towel, and curiosity to this class with instructor Ginny Contreras Sawyer from Heartwild Living! Stroll over to the Battle Lake Public Beach and then dig your toes into the sand. This class is alignment-based and heart-centered, aimed at building strength, increasing flexibility, and most importantly: getting you out of your thinking brain and into your body. "You've got to get back to the dirt ..." says Sunny in our May book "May Day." In keeping with this theme, our practice will focus on grounding ourselves in the healing properties of nature.

(Expect slower pacing and longer holds. Appropriate for all levels and abilities. Please watch the schedule in case we need to switch to our rain location (Lionseed Bookstore in Battle Lake.)

This event is open to the public as part of the year-long Mira James Book Club series of community events brought to you by Lionseed Bookstore & Learning Commons. To join the unique Murder by Month Mystery Club (books are set in Battle Lake!) or to register for additional events, visit
