Honoring Our Perfectly Imperfect Bodies - Women's Yoga + Sharing Circle

LIONSEED PRESENTS: PACER Learning Hour
We’ll watch a live-stream PACER event together at the store, followed by an opportunity for group discussion and questions. PACER is a nonprofit organization that works to enhance the quality of life and expand opportunities for children, youth, and young adults with all disabilities and their families so each person can reach his or her highest potential. Lionseed Book Club
The best part of being a reader is discovering new favorites and sharing those favorites with friends. This book club is dedicated to discovering and discussing lesser-known literary gems. WORKSHOP SERIES: What Is Executive Function?
In layman’s terms, Executive Function (EF) is the set of mental processes that enable us to get stuff done (think… Motivation, Organization, Sustained Attention, Planning, etc.). We’ll learn about these processes, better understand how our brains work, take a basic EF assessment, and come away with strategies, tools and resources to empower those of us who struggle with being “Outside-the-Box” thinkers. This series is for adults as well as students, grade 8 and above (with a parent/guardian). Fee: $125/individual, $175/pair (parent/child), Dates: August 8-10, Time: 6-8 PM

We strive to make our programs accessible to all socio-economic backgrounds. Additionally, we see value in the sharing of talents within our community. If you are interested in sharing your talents, we are looking for volunteer storytime readers, activity assistants and club facilitators. You’ll earn free registration for programs, help keep our activities free/affordable and share in the gift of being in community.
