Central MN Summit on Neurodiversity

The Central MN Summit on Neurodiversity is a forum for those interested in a respectful exchange of ideas and learning about neurodiversity, special education in Minnesota, and related topics of interest. The two-part conference offers a mix of keynotes, expert-led sessions, panel presentations, and peer-to-peer roundtable discussions.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS SUMMIT?
This unique summit brings together Parents/Caregivers • Educators • School Counselors/Administrators • Children’s Advocates • Self-Advocates • College students studying in these areas • Allies of Neurodiverse Thinkers to provide a rich and unique opportunity to learn from each other and grow together as a Central MN community.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
  • FREE - Morning program, brought to you by PACER Center
  • $55.00* - Afternoon program (includes a networking lunch, keynote Kate Swenson's presentation "The Secret World of Autism," meet-and-greet-book-signing and a panel discussion with area education professionals
Cancellation Policy: Summit registrations canceled on or before Oct. 15 are fully refundable. Registrations cancelled after Oct. 15 are no longer eligible for a refund.


KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Kate Swenson, the founder of Finding Cooper's Voice and nonprofit, The More Than Project, is a mother to four kids, a wife, and a proud Minnesotan. She writes and creates videos regularly about her life as a mother and an autism advocate for Facebook, Instagram, and her website, Finding Cooper's Voice. Her book, Forever Boy, A Mother's Memoir of Autism and Finding Joy, is available now and highlights the transformation that she went through after her son's diagnosis.
